4- Several events occured which gave us some insight about Mark and Bryon's relationship. To start off, when Mark got knocked out by Angela's friend, Bryon completely forgot about his date and own pleasure to go see if his ''brother'' was okay. Another example is right after the incident and Mark was in the ambulance. All Mark wanted was for Bryon to stay with him and never leave until he was feeling better. These 2 simple examples demonstrate how close they are to eachother. Even though they are not blood related, Mark and Bryon love eachother so much and they certainly would never do anything to jeopardize their brother-like relationship.

5- I believe that the meaning of the title means that back then, you were in a different mindset, a different environement and in a different situation then right now. ''We were like brothers, not just you and me, but all of us together... And now everybody's kinda slipped away,...'' Another quote that demonstrates the title of the book : '' Like something is coming to an end because somethin' else is begining? ... Like now I couldn't care less about Angela, and I can remember when she seemed like the most important thing on earth.'' Obviously, we can observe from these quotes that especially by living in the streets, you will start realising how things rapidly change and your priorities become more and more important. Also, how you cannot change the past but can make a better futur and learn from the mistakes made in the past...

1.  I think that clearly, Marc and Bryon's world is different because they still have the same mentality from the 70's. They continu to think that there are and should be differences in the context of races. They treat people differently because they have been raised that way. It pretty much means that they will stand up for who they are and not tolerate any justice with people not similar to them. Obviously this causes a lot of racism and injustice in the society. A lot of violence can be anticipated for the majority of the novel.

2. Mike is a good man and does not care about different races. He has absolutely no trouble of helping the woman when she gets attacked. Unfortunetly, she was surrounded by black people so she could not demonstrate her feelings to the white man saving her. She had no choice to tell others to beat him up because of his color. She also had no choice to show that black people are better than the white. Back then they were treated differently and were established in different social classes.

3. In the second chapter, Mark learns all about Mike's story. After this, he tells him that if the same thing would have happened to him, he would never forgive the attacker. I personally believe that Mark will convince Mike to get his revenge on those black people. I also forshadow that Mark will get attacked by a gang. He will try his absolute best to get his revenge and not get played like that ever again.
